Break out the Burgundy, because the 2005 Ford GT will have you thinking you're on the fast track at Le Mans. Ford planned just a replica to celebrate the Blue Oval's Centennial, but public demand forced them to make a whole production run of this classic racer. Which is funny, considering the 550-horsepower V8 can do three times the legal speed limit in most states.

2005 Ford GT
The 2005 Ford GT is a one-of-a-king super sports-car developed with power, luxury and style at the forefront.
The Ford GT is a exotic-sports-car-themed vehicle, boasting a massive 5.4L V-8 Supercharged engine producing 550HP and 500FTLB of torque. The Transmission available is a 6-speed manual that puts power to the 107” wheel-base rear-wheels.
Performance for the 2005 Ford GT is incredible: A 0-60MPH time of 3.3 seconds is common along with a 0-100MPH time of less than 7.8 seconds; the Ford GT can cruise up to speeds of over 200MPH.
The engine used is a unique Double-Over-Head-Cam design with four-valves-per-cylinder for a total of 32 valves in all. The block is cast from aluminum as well as the heads with a major emphasis on block integrity and durability.
